In humans, why do only male gametes have a tail

Gametes are cells which helps in reproduction. Male gametes are called sperm and female gametes are called eggs. Sperms have tails and are mobile i.e., they can move from maleto female body. Their tail helps them in movement.

Because only male gamete has to propagate.
The female gamete is helped in Propogation by epithelial tissues present in the inner surface of phallopean tube.
