Answer:

The "visible" hydrogen emission spectrum lines in the Balmer series. H-alpha is the red line at the right. Four lines (counting from the right) are formally in the visiblerange. Lines five and six can be seen with the naked eye, but are considered to be ultraviolet as they have wavelengths less than 400 nm.

hope this helps you..

Answer:

Explanation:

In hydrogen spectrum the first member is lyman and then Balmer and then paschen

The lyman will have the highest wavelength as it shows maximum bending and then the wavelength decreases and frequency increases and the family stats to merge

The electron in lyman

1st family member= 2nd shell to 1st

2nd family member= 3rd shell to 2nd

3rd family member= 4th shell to 3rd

And so on

Similarily In balmer series the member with lowest wavelength is the last member in which the transition takes place between infinite shell to 2nd
