Given : a right angle triangle ABC    ,  AB is twice of BC

To Find :  Correct Statement

AC² = AB² + 2BC²

AC² = 3BC²

AC² = 5BC²

AC² = 5AB²

Solution:

Using Pythagoras theorem :

AC² = AB² + BC²

AB = 2BC

=> AC² = (2BC)² + BC²

=> AC² = 4BC² + BC²

=> AC² = 5BC²

AC² = 5BC²  is correct option
