kitchen ingredients. Our mothers and grandmothers know how to prepare these medicines
at home. They often use such home remedies to cure small health problems and ailments.
Title : Medicinal plants and kitchen ingredients used for home remedies.
Objective : To make people aware of the various common medicinal plants or kitchen
ingredients used for home remedies.
Step-I : Collect information from your grandmother and elderly ladies in the neighbourhood
about home remedies.
Step-II : Under each medicinal plant or ingredient, write the ailment / ailments for which
it is used.
Step-III : Tabulate the whole information under the main head - ‘Home Remedies’ with
the following sub-heads:
(i) Name of ingredients / plants
(ii) Ailment / Ailments
(iii) Availability
(iv) Usage
