Sculpting is a process of creating something with various processes such as by craving or by using various shaping techniques or by casting.

Explanation:

Stone sculpting is a process where a stone is being carved or assembled so that a three-dimensional shape can be formed in case of stone craving various rough natured stones are shaped by removal of certain portion of stones. Metal sculpting is a process where various metals such as bronze, aluminum, copper, iron, gold as well as silver is being used to make variety of structures.

There are certain differences between sculpting in a stone and sculpting in a metal they are as follows technically sculpting in a stone means giving direct form to a stone by removing certain portion of the stone but in case of sculpting in a metal first we need to create a clay form then  we need to cast and  mould it in bronze  or in different metal. In case of sculpting of stone additive and subtractive methods are used but in case of sculpting of a metal we need to create a clay form after that we need to cast or mould it in a bronze or any other different metal.
