I oppose the shifting cultivation because by this there will be more land utilized for gezing which causes soil erosion. And there will be no proper tax put on them and there will be no proper use of resources.

Answer:

I support

Explanation:

Tribes cannot live along with normal people due to variations in traditions and customs. Tribal people are still not developed, so we need to support their method of agriculture i.e shifting cultivation. In shifting cultivation the anyways waste materials are only burnt and then the crops are sowed and harvested in some time. Since it is a forest ground, it can easily be replenished with nutrients. Thus, I support shifting cultivation.

Moreover Britishers banned shifting cultivation not because it caused soil erosion but because tribes did not have to pay tax for doing shifting cultivation.
