Maruti Suzuki, which has the largest share of the market among the automakers in India has in the past few years radically increased the level of automation in its production units.

This is owed to the “changing structure” of manufacturing all over the world and the “difficult” labour market in India.

Capital intensive process and labour intensive processes were all used in India as labour units .

The intensive capital unit which was formally used had its own set back

The set backs were

Large amount of funds required.

The time was highly wasted.

There was non all inclusive methods which left many individuals out.

Indians then resorted for labour intensive method as it is time conservative and need less fund to run the system

The number of individuals included here is high hence fighting the wind of unemployment
