The reasons why British East India Company (BEIC) was string than French East India Company (FEIC):
• The BEIC was supported and financed by the Government of Britain and thus, they had no scarcity of resources. On the other hand FEIC was a completely separate organisation with very little Government aid.
• The BEIC brought their arms and ammunition directly to the the ports of India, while the FEIC deposited their arms in Maldives, causing delay in action.
• The BEIC had become allies with many Indian states and gained their help, while FEIC had very less Indian allies.
