Natural vegetation means the wild crops, herbs and shrubs that are growing without any interference of men. When we go on trek we see lots of plants growing naturally without any body looking after them. These plants are called natural vegetation. It has a lot of benefits for mother earth. But in India natural vegetation is disappearing day by day. The reasons are mentioned below -

1. Growth in population of our country - It resulted in space constraint and our encroachment to natural vegetation.

2. Spoiling nature - Where ever we go we create pollutants that destroy nature.

3.Manufacturing products - In the nature we create our industries and in turn destroy mother nature.

4. Cutting of trees - When we move near vegetation we cut trees, hurbs and shrubs for fulfilling our requirements.  

5. Unauthorized cutting - For benefit of ourselves we illegally cut plants that are of medicinal or any other value.  

The above are some of the reasons why natural vegetation is rapidly decreasing and disappearing in India.
