the need of irrigation is more because of the following - 1. India has huge population ,so the demand of food and other daily consumed product is high. To meet the demand the need of irrigation is more . 2. Many MNC are in India , and they need raw material like for production . 3 . Moreover in the recent years the agro- based industries of India spreading all over the world , so its need increases its production .And the need of irrigation in India is getting more . ( This is the answer in my view point )
