Answer:

u = 2

v = 0

t = 10

First Equation of Motion

v = u + at

0 = 2 + 10a

10a = -2

a = -2/10

a = -0.2m/s^2

Given :-

  • Final Velocity = 0 m/s
  • Initial Velocity = 2 m/s
  • Time taken = 10 seconds

To Find :-

  • Acceleration of the body = ?

Answer :-

  • Acceleration = 40 m/s²

Explaination :-

By using first equation of motion we get :

  • v = u + at

Where, v is Final Velocity , u is Initial Velocity and t is time taken.

Now, Substituting the given values in above equation :

→ 0 = 2 + a(10)

→ 2 + 10a = 0

→ 10a = -2

→ a = -2 ÷ 10

→ a = -0.2 m/s²

Therefore,acceleration produced by the body is -0.2 m/s².
