in installing windows 7 if we choose custom then is setup erase all my personal data?

Nope dear ^_^ You will get a separate option for the same that is "ERASE"
other than that you will get an option like "RESTART"

Hi,
No... after choosing custom option in next screen you will see another wizard which will ask you to to select drive in which you wanna install windows, just select that drive (usually c drive) and click on format, then click on install button.
