In internet context, the fourth W in WWWW stands for - Worm.

The abbreviation WWWW stands for World Wide Web Worm. It is supposedly the first search engine for the World-Wide Web. The worm created a database of 300,000 multimedia objects which could be obtained or searched for keywords via the WWW.

WWWW also stands for "World Wide Wireless Web".
The wireless Web refers to use of the World Wide Web through a wireless device like mobile phones or personal digital assistant (PDA). Wireless Web connection provides an internet connection anytime and anywhere for e-mail, mobile banking, instant messaging, weather and travel information, and other services.

It is the first Search engine but was not released until 1994 in March .

WWWW was developed by Oliver McBryan in September 1993 at the University of Colorado.
