Answer:

GIVEN

EQUAL SIDES =B=C =15CM

PERIMETER=A+B+C =40CM

FINDING THE OTHER SIDE

A+B+C=40

40=A+15+15

40=A+30

A=40-30

A=10CM

FINDING THE AREA USING HERONS FORMULA

AREA =√S(S-A)(S-B)(S-C) WHARE S IS THE SEMIPERIMETER OF THE TRIANGLE AND A,B,C ARE THE SIDE OF THE TRIANGLE .

S=PERIMETER/2=40/2=20CM

AREA=√20(20-10)(20-15)(20-15)

AREA =√20×10×5×5

AREA=5×10√2

AREA=50√2 CM ^2
