Step by step explaination with answer:

First part-(weight increased during first year)

In 2013 January your weight was 72kg and in 2014 your weight was 81 kg . So it means you gained weight..

So,

gained weight=(81 -72) kg=9kg

percentage increase in weight = Gained weight*100 /last year weight

%increase=9*100/72

By solving we get 12.5%

Second part-(weight decreased during second year)

In Jan 2014 your weight was 81 kg and in Jan 2015 your weight was 76.5 kg. So you lose your weight.

So, lost weight =( 81-76.5 )kg =4.5 kg

percentage lost in weight = Lost weight *100/last year's weight

%weight lost =4.5*100/81

By solving we get 5.56 %.
