In △jkl, solve for x.triangle jkl where angle k is a right angle. kl measures 34. jk measures x. angle j measures 27 degrees.

From the attached diagram;

JK = x = Adjacent

KL = 34 = Opposite

JL = Hypotenuse

Since we have opposite and we need adjacent, we will use Tan

Tan 27 = 34/x

x = 34/Tan 27

x = 66.73
