The Canara Plastic Manufacturers and Traders’ Association (CPMTA) has said that unscheduled load-shedding and frequent power cuts in Karnataka have been affecting the small-scale industries in the State.

BA Nazeer, President of CPMTA, said that many processing industries at Baikampady industrial area in Mangaluru that are focusing on plastic, rubber, chemical and marine export sectors need almost continuous power supply.
