4x+2y=336(1)
x+y=96 MULTIPLYING THE EQUATION BY 2
2x+2y=192(2)
Subtract 1-2
We get
2x=144
x=72
x+y=96
so y=24
so
no.of peacoks-24
no.of hippopotamus-72
if u want you can verify
hope you understand my answer
thank you
