in lab,CuSO4(solution) is kept in an Al container. do you think the solution can be stored for a long time?why do you think so?

Aluminium is more reactive than copper. So the aluminium will displace copper sulphate from its solution . After some days the blue colour of the solution will fade away and copper will be deposited on the inner surface of the Al container. In this way the solution of copper sulphate will change into aluminium sulphate.

yes it can be stored because copper sulphate solution is not an acid aluminium is a meta....so...if an acid is kept in a metal container it reacts and the metal gets corroded .....there fore it can't be stored by here it is not an acid so..., it doesn't react ....Hence it can be stored.
