Dear Diary
I am amazed at how everyone talks about pollution but hardly anyone bothers to do anything about it. Children are asked to write essays on the environment, yet no one inspires them to plant trees. Each tree absorbs so much carbon dioxide and in return gives us oxygen. Imagine how the world would be if each family planted a tree. There would be so much fresh air and greenery. Birds and animals would thrive and we humans would be able to lead healthier lives. The only thing we need to do to achieve this ideal state is to plant trees. They are a lot more crucial to our existence than we think and the sooner we act, the better it would be for all of us.

This has become our family ritual. We all must adopt a green activity and follow it to promote afforestation. We, humans, have done enough destruction to earth now we must contribute to saving it.
