In letter writing. Is salutation is above subject or below?

Mostly salutation is written below subject but according to new cbse rule and according to many cbse prescribed book salutation is written above subject..So I prefer to write it above subject..hope it helped you ..✌✌All the best for exams..

It can be either, salutation and subject or subject and salutation.
I suggest like KING5925 said salutaion and subject is more attractive
