in 3/4 months I grow 5 inches.

in 1 month it will grow

 \frac{5 \times 1}{ \frac{3}{4} }  \:  \: inches

 =  \frac{5 \times 4}{3}  \:  \: inches

 =  \frac{20}{3}  \:  \: inches

 = 6.667 \:  \: inches
