In Linear Inequalities ,When we are finding the inequality for x do we have to apply the rules for eg like divide both sides

OR

We could just simply solve it by moving terms and stuff

For Eg

3x+8 >2

3x>2-8

3x>-6

x>-2
Or we have to first multiply or divide both sides that typwe of stuff

you have to apply the rules but the rule is that the number which is in the side of X you have to subtract it from both sides

in this question the work is done without applying the rule but in higher level questions this method is wrong.

HOPE THIS HELPS
