and when the stove is lighted chemical change occurs where the hydrocarbon turns in to carbon dioxide and water vapor

It's is a physical change becuz LPG is a gas and its is compressed to turn into liquid,so is physical change.But when LPG gas burns on stove its a chemical change as combustion is taking place.
