Answer is D) Unisexual but on the same plant.

Maize flowers are Unisexual flowers. There are male flowers and female flowers separately. They grow on the same plant at different parts. Male flower grows at a higher position on the plant.

The female inflorescences are enveloped by layers of ear leaves (husks). They are in the midsection of the plant. The male flower inflorescences are at the apex of the stem in the tassel. Their shapes are entirely different.
