Sperm is the male gamete which are tiny structure which looks like a tadpole. It consist of three main parts namely head, middle piece or neck and tail.

The head part of the sperm contains the nucleus, which holds the DNA of the cell. It also carry enzymes which help in breaking the cell membrane of an egg.

The middle part of the sperm contains the mitochondria, mitochondria are the organelles which provide energy to the cell. The sperm move by utilizing the energy provided by the mid-piece part of the sperm.

The tail of the sperm contains a long  flagella, which help in pushing the sperm forward.
