mamals and birds are warm blooded animals.because of this birds and mamals require optimum oxidation of gulcose which would be possible with good supply of oxygen by developing four chambers heart  they have made it possible to compeletely seperate the oxygenated and deoxygeneted  blood in their bodies which is their need because of their habit and habitat.
