in meiosis 1 increases in dna content which leads to the increase in chromosomes number as per the rule pairing recombination occurs. first dna content 2c but now 4c . if it divides it gives two 2c cells. and after in meiosis 2 the two 2c will changes to c c cells. if dna replicates then meiosis 1 can't occur reduction division​
