Bassanio was a charming men who want to marry Portia the lady of Belmont
He was a true friend since he quickly went back to help Antonio after hearing that he is being punished by Shylock
He was also a true lover of Portia but not more than his friendship with Antonio since in the court he was ready to do anything for antonio and also gave his wedding ring to portia in her disguised look and was great in making right choices since he choose the right casket in which Portia photo was present....
Quite foolish since he was unable to identify Portia in disguised look
