in the answer instead of iron(iii) they have written iron(ii iii)(which is ferric ferrous oxide)

so is the answer in the book wrong?

when I searched online.....in the answer some used iron(iii)oxide(fe2O3)
some used iron(ii)oxide(feO)

Answer:

It is given correct in your book. and answers you got online are correct as well. reason for this is variable valency of iron.

if no condition are mentioned you can write any of all.
