in my exam ,i always get low marks in simplification but the concept and ideas are correct .how can i correct this ,please help.

The main reasons for low marks may be,

1. Not giving correct explaination for ur step
2. not applying BODMAS rule properly
3. not using proper signs like implies that⇒ or equal to=

You may correct this by:

1. Practising the steps many times (don't mug up), keep practising.
2. Give explaination for each step 
for ex-
   
        2x² - 4x - 2 = 0
       ⇒ 2x² - 2x -2x -2 = 0 ..............( by middle term splitting )
3. Using BODMAS properly.
