In My History Book it is Written That "In 1765, the Mughal Emperor appointed the East India Company as the Diwan of the Provinces of Bengal." Then it is written that "The Diwan allowed the Company to use the vast revenue resources of Bengal."

So, My Question is that - The East India Company is Only The Diwan, so how it can allow itself to use the vast revenue of Bengal.

If U understood and u know the Answer Please Explain me...​
