Solution - The purse has ₹500 notes.

The sum of the value of both notes will be equal to the total value of notes.

So, the value of 1 one note + value of another note = ₹550

Keep the values in the formula to find the value of one-note.

Value of 1 one note + 50 = 550

Value of 1 one note = 550 - 50

value of 1 one note = ₹500

Thus, the purse has ₹500 notes.
