an=6-12n

Putting n=1
a1 = 6-12n
= 6-12(1)
= 6-12
= -6
Putting n= 2
a2 = 6-12(2)
= 6-24
= -18
Putting n =3
a3 = 6-12(3)
=6-36
= -30
So,Common difference of an A.P. = a2-a1
= -18-(-6)
= -12
