In N2O why does nitrogen form triple bond with the other Nitrogen and not with Oxygen

Explanation:

It forms triple bond with other atom of nitrogen to satisfy their respective valency which is 3....

Oxygen has valency=2...

So only 2 electrons are needed. And it will form double bond.....
