In ncert book it is written that during sudden start of bus our feet which is contact with the floor attain sudden motion , but our body is still at rest that why we fall, but how can this happen , imean from the point of legs are our part of our body?

In this case,our body is at rest but when the bus starts it gains some speed so our feet which is contact with the floor attain sudden motion due to acceleration of bus, contradicting the fact that our body is in rest, the bus is in motion. So, due to this we fall down.
