12th dark ring = 0.7

so,, 20th dark ring =?

now let 12×2=24th dark ring = 0.7 ×2
1.4
so 24th ring = 1.4
now subtract 4 ring value from 24 th ring value = 1.4 -0.4
= 1

theirfore,, the requried diameter of 20th dark ring= 1 units

the increase in 4 to 12=8 and rise =0.3 .
so for 20 ,the 8 is increased
so,0.7+0.3=0.10
the ans =0.10
