Othello is an important character of Shakespeare's play. He is a moor, a general in the defence in the city of Venice. He has a great respect as a brave military personnel. But he is very pure and innocent by heart. He is deeply in love with Desdemona but his innocence carries him with the tricky ideas of the cunning lieutenant, Iago. He started doubting his wife without any confirm evidence.This disbelief took him to the point of murdering his beloved /wife. Nevertheless, he killed himself too when the whole truth came before him.
