Prokaryotic cells have single chromosome and Eukaryotic cells have more than one chromosome.
In prokaryotic cells nuclear region is poorly defined as the nuclear membrane is absent and is known as nucleoid while in eukaryotic cells nuclear region is well defined as nuclear membrane is present.
In prokaryotic cells membrane bound cell organelles are absent and in eukaryotic cells membrane bound cells oraganells are present.
