Here, AB = 20cm and OC = 24cm

Now,

AC=CB=2AB=10cm (perpendicular drawn from centre of the circle to the chord,bisects the chord)

Then using Pythagorean Theorem:

OA= under root (AC2+OC2)=(102+242)=676=26

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, AB = 20cm and OC = 24cm

Now,

AC=CB=2AB=10cm (perpendicular drawn from centre of the circle to the chord,bisects the chord)

Then using Pythagorean Theorem:

OA= under root (AC^2+OC^2)

=(10^2+24^2)

=676=26
