Road travel: people mostly walked during the medieval times but there were other ways too like a horse in plains, mules in hilly regions , yaks in the himalayas , camels in deserts , etc These animals were attached with carts to carry goods, or many people at one time !Water travel: Boats , ships and rafts were common modes of transport then………. evidences show that people traveled the world mostly through water (oceans)!
