➪We can do this one orally .

The cost of 1 banana is 210/6= 35 paise .

We need to bring this down to 3.60/12=30 paise.

➪ So, the excess price on 1 banana is 35–30=5 p

➪ On 300 bananas the excess is 300x5=1500 paise

➪ price of 1 banana @ 5 for 1.20 is 120/5=24 p .

➪ Excess is reduced by 30–24=6 p with 1 banana .

To reduce the excess of 1500 p we need to buy :

1500/6=250 bananas✔︎
