In one electric circuit 'x' 1 ohm and 2 ohm resistors are connected in series with 6v battery and another circuit 'y' with 1 ohm and 2 ohm resistors are connected in parallel with 4v battery. What is the ratio of electric current in x and y circuit?

Answer:

your answer is given below. By the way i loved your question bro its a good question maybe you should message me questions like this one.

Explanation:

in the circuit 'x'

total resistance = resistance of first resistor + resistance of second resistor

                          = 1 ohm+2ohm=3ohm

voltage=6 V

current fowing in the circuit = voltage/total resistance

                                               = 6/3=2 ampere

now in the circuit 'y'

1/total resitance= 1/ resistance of first resistor+1/resistance of second resistor = 1/1+1/2=3/2 ohm

total resistance = 2/3 ohm

voltage= 4V

current flowing in the conductor = voltage/resistance=4 ÷2/3=6 ampere

so the ratio of electric current in circuit 'x' and 'y'= electric current in 'x'÷elctric current in 'y' = 2A/6A=1/3

so the ratio is 1/3.
