milk in 1 lit. mixture of pot-1 = 3/7

milk in 1 lit. mixture of pot-2= 6/7

now the required ratio is 7:3 that means we need 7 lit. of milk in 10lit of mixture

so, let x be the ratio to be maintained in both pot mixtures

then 7/3= ((6/7)-x)/((3/7)-x)

7/3=(6-7x)/(3-7x)

after cross multiplication

18-21x=21-49x

after simplification we get x=3:28
