set up an experiment such that germinating seeds are kept in one conical flask, along with koh pellets, and in another test tube keep water upto a certain level, using a bent tube join the two containers and place the tube through the cork in the conical container containing germinating seeds, close it.

After a few hours, you will notice that the water level has risen in the test tube because the koh pellets have absorbed the co2 released by seeds, thus creating a vacuum and forcing the air inside bent tube to move into conical flask therefore water level rises through the suction.
