In order to understand that the
inparticle attraction depends upon
the nature of matter, take a piece
of the biscuit, a small piece of biscuit
anda iron nail- Beat them sepratelty

with a hammer.
What do you obsereve

We will observe the following things -

• The biscuit broken easily by a single strike of the hammer.

• The iron nail took almost negligible damages by the same single strike of the hammer.

• This shows that the particle attraction inside a substance is dependent on the type of substance.

• Because,the rigidity of the substance is directly proportional to the particle attraction of that substance.

• The iron nail has greater amount of rigidity as well as internal particle attraction and that's why it was able to tolerate the strike of the hammer,unlike the biscuit which has very less amount of rigidity and internal particle attraction.
