Its produced in all organisms..
In humans ATP is produced during the process of respiration when a molecule of ADP Is added with an inorganic molecule of phosphorus and some energy to produce ATP..

Its produced in electron transport chain (ETC) in the mitochondria...

Hope it helps..
Thanks..

Abhinav2511: amount of atp is 32
vinaymenon007: Its 38..
sakura2121: 38 ATP is produced in which 2 ATP is utilised by the cell itself
vinaymenon007: Yes. M

There are metabolic processes that occurs in body which generate energy in a form of ATP. The processes are:

- Glycolysis - It is a breakdown of glucose molecule and generate ATP

- Oxidative Phosphorylation- It is one of the major producer of ATP in organisms, 26 out of 30 ATP molecules are generated by OP.

- Beta Oxidation- It is a process in which lipids are converted into energy.

- Aerobic respiration-  As the name indicates, this process require oxygen to produce ATP.
