in our country engineering, teaching and medical fields are much sought after. other professions, occupation though they make a significant contribution to the society, do not get their due.

It is a common notion that if an individual is a doctor or an engineer then his sin or daughter needs to be the same.
There are many other professions that do not get due respect.
Even though the country of India has an agrarian economy, still there are hardly any people who seek to become a farmer or some local shop vendor.
This problem has to be solved immediately. We need to understand that each and every occupation is equally important for a society and to bring economy to the country.
