in our school there is a big cuboidal water tank with length=5m breadth=4m and h=3m

Q1. Find the volume of the water tank.

and Height (h) =3m

1) Volume of tank =l×b×h

⇒V=5×4×3=60cubic m

2) Total Surface area of cuboid =2(lb+bh+hl)

=2(20 +12+15). =2(47)=94 square m

3)  Amount of water held by 1 cubic m  

volume =1000l

Amount of water held by 60 cubic m volume  

= 60×1000

=60000l

4)  If one-day consumption is 300lit,

then the number of days the water will be finished = 60000 ÷ 300= 200 days.
