because it is not in the hand of both men and women.
it will be based on the fertilisation of eggs and sperms.

Answer:

The gender of a children is decided by the male gamete.

Explanation:

The fusion of male gamete and female gamete is called fertilization. The male gamete is sperm which has two types of chromosome namely X and Y, whereas the female gamete is called egg and it has chromosome namely 'X'.

When the sperm containing 'X' chromosome fuses with egg it leads to the formation of 'XX' zygote which is a female, whereas if the sperm containing 'Y' fuses with egg, it leads to the formation of 'XY' zygote which is a male.

Thus, it can be inferred that as the sex of the child is determined by the male gamete it is not correct to blame the women.
